- BPL – Below Poverty Line BPL Card: Provide a fixed quantity of food grains at subsidized rates by issuing these cards to those people who fall below poverty line. The BPL Card is an official document issued by the govt. This card is used as proof of identity for various govt. Scheme and programs.
- Above Poverty Line (APL) Card: Provide food grains at comparatively higher rates than AAY and BPL cardholders and are issue to those people who are above poverty line. “Above the poverty line” means that a person or household’s income is enough to cover their basic needs like food, clothing, housing and utilities.
- Priority Household (PHH) Card: the families who fall under the specific pre – determined income criteria are issued PHH Cards.
- Annapurna Yojana (AY) Ration Card: The AY Ration Card was issued to poor people who are older and age above 65 years.
